Custom Work
I welcome your custom work order. Please keep in mind that I make working leather, leather to be used every day in the elements and drenched in horse sweat. If you have an item that has worn out or maybe you just want to improve on something you are using now, or you just want another one of what you have, call me and we'll talk about it.
Art Cox wanted a gallon jug for water to hang on his saddle. Training his dogs in the summer requires lots of water to keep em' goin. The jugs keep wearing out as they rub on horse and saddle, so he wanted a leather covered one. Here is what I came up with. Thank you art!
Note: This was made out of tooling leather so it could be molded around the jug.
The photo was taken before it was oiled and treated so water wont affect its
performance.
My friend Kim Sampson has got some BIG runnin' pointing dogs. Sometimes they get lost and she needs a tracker to locate them. She had me make a custom case to hang on the saddle until the tracker is needed. Thank you for your business Kim!
Custom Saddle bags fit to your saddle.
This is tough because I need your saddle for a few minutes to measure all the seat angles and where the strings come off the skirts. They are rarely in the exact same place on both skirts. If you don't get an exact fit, the bags will move around and that's not good! Contact us if we can help.
I built this "Lifetime Combo" to match the limited
edition saddle from Tucker, the Nevada Joe. My wife and "Annie"
love it. There is also a matching breast collar but I didn't take a photo of
that. (Note the white in the stitching,,, Obenauf's again.)
The first two are 2 liter bottle holders that snap on the saddle. The third on
is a 1 liter that's perfect for "Aquafina" 1 liter bottles, and will fit
most others.

Custom water bottle holders (as you can see all are two tone) L to R antique oil with Montana silversmith concho, antique oil with brass concho and twisted fringe, brass concho with "saddle string" fringe, Montana silversmith button, and silver concho with horse hair.
