Horse Products "When yer twenty miles back in, you want Snow Canyon Outfitters leather on yer critter." The "Lifetime Halter/Bridle Combination" This is our most popular horse product. If you haven't used a combination halter/bridle before, you are missing out on the easiest, most convenient setup there is. This is absolutely the cats whiskers for you trail riders and field trailers. Shown left to right in the first three photos is the "halter" of the combination. In the photo on the right you can see how the bit attaches to the halter. To ride you simply put the bit in the horses mouth and snap the scissor snaps into the dee ring on each side of the combo and you are set to go. Stop for lunch? Unsnap snaps and take the bit out, tie out your horse. When you're ready to go, snap snap and you are on your way again. Compare this one to a Tucker, you won't believe the difference. Hey, it's called the "Lifetime Combo" for a reason! (Note the white in the stitching, this combo was pre-treated with Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP. It will soon soak into the leather and not be noticeable. I highly recommend pre-treating and regular use of Obenauf's on all of my leather products.) Made of 12/13 oz., 7/8 inch bridle leather, sewn double thickness, solid brass or stainless steel hardware, hand made all the way. The "Lifetime Combo" comes in the following configurations. Color Chestnut, (shown) Black, Custom (shown on gray horse) Hardware Solid Brass, Stainless Steel Other options Pre-treatment with Obenauf's Heavy duty LP. Not really an option, I treat all leather that leaves my shop unless otherwise requested. Headstalls Many customers have requested us to make headstalls, so, here we go. We basically offer 4 "grades" of headstall. Grade doesn't mean quality, as all our headstalls are made the same and are just that, quality. Grade has to do with the expense of the hardware, and tooling of leather. Grade 1 is a basic headstall with no tooling and basic hardware. Grade 2 is a tooled headstall with basic hardware. Grade 3 is a tooled headstall with much nicer hardware (such as horseshoe brand buckles) Grade 4 is tooled leather with totally custom hardware, silver, gold, you name it, Bling Bling Bling! Most headstalls are lined with the finest latigo leather available. The latigo lining repels moisture such as horse sweat to prolong the life of the headstall, as well as providing a stronger overall headstall because of the two layers of leather, plus the stitching. You can choose from Chicago screw bit ties or the kind you tie off. Price is the same (Note) We do make some headstalls out of Hermann oak Old World Harness leather and these are not latigo lined. Pricing Grade 1 $35.00 Grade 2 $45.00 Grade 3 $55.00 Grade 4 $55.00 to $5,500.00
Grade 1 (Same as Grade 2 but with no tooling)
Grade 2 We're still under construction here a bit. Hang on there Pilgrim!
Training Bridle My friend Dennis Pennington asked me to build him a "training bridle." I am offering the same style to you. This bridle has snaps at the bottom so it's simple and quick to change bits. Made of the same 12/13 oz. bridle leather as the "Lifetime Combo", this one will last and last. It is 5/8 inch wide. Color Chestnut (shown), Black Hardware Solid Brass, Chrome Plated Brass The "Lifetime Breast Collar" This breast collar is made especially for the Trooper style saddle and will go very nicely with most of the endurance style saddles as well. It is also a match made in heaven for any Tucker saddle. As with all other products, bridle leather in 12/13 oz. weight is used. Hand cut, hand punched, hand edged and finished. It's called "The Lifetime" for a reason man! (Note the white in the stitching and in the buckle holes. This one was pre treated with Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP. It will soon soak into the stitching and leather and not be noticeable. I highly recommend treating with Obenauf's. It will make all leather products last much longer.) Color Chestnut (shown), Black Hardware Solid Brass, Stainless Steel
Reins English Bridle Leather These beauties are made of the same 12/13 oz. bridle leather as our other products. Hand cut and hand finished, these reins have "the feel" to 'em. Split reins are 6 1/2 feet or longer. Single reins are as long as possible. (usually 7 1/2 - 8 feet) Make it a set with the "Combo", breast collar, and a set of reins. You'll be sittin tall 'n ridin smooth!!! Color Chestnut (shown) Black Hermann Oak Harness Leather Made from Hermann Oak Harness Leather in "russet" color, these reins are supple yet strong as iron. Also hand cut and hand finished, these are a medium brown color that matches the most saddles and tack out there. These honey's are built to last! If you don't have to match color of a halter/bridle, or breast collar, I would recommend these reins. They are very supple yet strong and have a very nice "hand" to them. Price "Lifetime" Water Bottle Holders These water bottle holders will last and last. New bottles are readily available so you don't need to worry about cleaning and sanitizing old ones. Made of the same 12/13 oz. and 9/10 oz. Bridle Leather as our other gear. Stitched and riveted to last "a lifetime". Color Chestnut, Black Hardware Solid brass snap, copper rivets. Single color, two tone, saddle skirting, English Bridle, anything you want. Custom Saddle Bags
Saddle Bags can be difficult because I need to measure your saddle for seat angle and where the strings are on each skirt. ( Strings are almost never in the same exact place on each skirt). If the fit is not correct, the bags will move around excessively and cause you trouble. Please call if I can help you with saddle bags. Prices start around $300.00 for Saddle Bags and $200.00 for horn bags. Please read "ordering info." page before you complete checkout.
